Ceramic tint on City Park Condo

One of our clients owns a condo in the Parkview St. John condominiums. This is an amazing place to live that is right on the edge Bayou St. John and over looks city park in New Orleans.

She loves her new condo and the view out of the windows looking at city park. The only problem is that in the evening the sun comes straight into those windows.

With the sun beaming in it\’s hard to see the TV and hard to handle the heat if you\’re anywhere near the windows.

Due to restrictions from the home owner\’s association in the complex she can not install any reflective window tint on her windows, nor did she want reflective tint on her windows. You know, that tint that looks like a mirror on the outside.

So we installed Hüper Optik Ceramic 60 window tint. This is a 100% ceramic window tint that has very low reflectance so it\’s not shinny. It blocks a tremendous amount of heat though.

Many people are mistaken when they think that you need a really dark tint like on a car or a mirror tint to keep any heat out. This is not true.

Window tint works like a light filter. Ceramic window tint allows the visible light to pass through while blocking out the harmful sun rays such as UVA, UVB and infrared light.
